Landing page design service in Japan – pages that turn ad clicks into inquiries

A landing page has one job: convince the person who clicked your ad and move them to an inquiry, booking or purchase on a single page. When ad spend goes up and leads do not, the cause is usually a mismatch between the ad and the page, slow loading or a form that is hard to fill in. This page explains how landing pages for Google and Meta ad traffic are planned and built, what to prepare, and why UNANOBO starts with a free demo of your landing page.

  • Free demo – decide after you see it
  • By message, in Japanese or English
  • One person from demo to launch

FREE DEMO

A landing page for your ads – free demo

Send us your product or service URL and what you plan to advertise. We build a free demo landing page for that ad traffic, and you decide after you have seen it.

  • A first view written to match your ads
  • Test the path to the form on a phone
  • A plan for structure, forms and tracking

A phone number or an email address is enough – whichever suits you.

What a landing page does that a website does not

A landing page is the first page a visitor sees after clicking an ad or a search result. An ad landing page focuses on one product or service and one action. Your website gives a broad picture of the business; a landing page is a dedicated counter for the people who saw one specific ad. It is especially useful when you:

  • Start Google search ads and want each keyword to land on a page that answers it instantly
  • Run Meta ads on Instagram or Facebook and need to win over new audiences in seconds
  • Launch a campaign or new product without reshuffling your main website
  • Sell Shopify products through ads and need more room than a product page gives for use cases and comparisons

Our landing page guide covers the types and basics. A quick test: if you can name one audience, one offer and one action for the ad, a landing page is usually the better destination for that ad traffic than your home page.

Five reasons ad landing pages fail to convert

A common story is a landing page that looks good and still brings few leads. The cause is usually one of these:

  • The page does not match the ad: the ad promises "same-day booking" and the top of the page never mentions it
  • It loads slowly: heavy images, autoplay video and unused tags keep mobile visitors waiting
  • The form is too long: many required fields, strict input formats and no word on what happens after sending
  • Key information is missing: no price guide, steps, FAQ or details about who runs the business
  • It is awkward on a phone: the call-to-action appears late and buttons are small

You can spot all of these in the numbers after launch, but designing them out from the start shortens the period of wasted ad spend. If you already have a page that underperforms, see how to improve a landing page.

Structure and message match

The core rule: the first screen picks up exactly what the ad promised. This is called message match. For search ads, the headline reflects the keyword and the ad copy; for Meta ads, it echoes the image and the first line of the ad. From there the page answers the visitor's questions in order:

  • First view: a headline in the ad's own words, a clear photo and a call-to-action button
  • The problem: two or three concrete situations the reader recognizes
  • Solution and features: around three reasons to choose you, shown with photos or simple graphics
  • Trust: qualifications, guarantee terms, the face and location of the business – things a reader can verify
  • Steps and price guide: how it works from inquiry to service and how costs are set
  • FAQ and form: clear the last doubts, then a short form

When ad groups use very different messages, several versions of the page with only the headline and first view swapped raise the match without rebuilding everything. In health and beauty, claims and testimonials can fall under Japan's Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations or the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act. Guidelines are revised from time to time, so check wording against the latest version before launch.

Speed, forms and tracking: the base to fix before launch

With ads, you pay from the moment someone clicks. Losing visitors to loading time, broken forms or missing conversion data is as costly as weak design. Before launch we check:

  • Speed: compressed images (WebP), lazy loading below the first screen, and a Largest Contentful Paint of 2.5 seconds or less in PageSpeed Insights as the target
  • Forms: only the fields you really need, input examples, and a thank-you page that says what happens next
  • Tracking: GA4, the Google Ads conversion tag and the Meta pixel tied to a completed submission, verified with test entries
  • Mobile actions: a sticky call-to-action at the bottom of the screen and tap-to-call phone numbers

On Shopify, a landing page can be built as a custom page template in the theme editor by combining sections, and add-to-cart and purchase tracking can be set up with Shopify's own features and official apps. If you want the ad side handled too – settings, keywords and bids – see search ads management.

How a landing page project runs and what to prepare

For a single landing page, two to four weeks from agreed structure to launch is typical. Timing depends on how ready the copy and photos are and how many review rounds you need.

  • Goal: pick the one action the page should drive – inquiries, bookings or sales
  • Ads: review planned keywords, ad copy and target audience
  • Structure and copy: headlines, order of content and form fields
  • Design and build: designed for mobile first, then refined for desktop
  • Pre-launch checks: speed, form submissions, tracking tags and display on each device
  • After launch: adjust headlines and buttons based on ad data and on-page behavior

It helps to have ready: material that explains your product or service, usable photos, your logo, the words you plan to use in ads and two or three landing pages you like. For budgets and how providers differ, see landing page cost in Japan. Keep ad accounts and domains in your own name so you stay in control whoever you work with.

How UNANOBO builds landing pages: a free demo first

Before you commit, UNANOBO builds a free demo landing page around your planned ads and your product. You see the headline, the structure and the form placement in a working page, on your computer and your phone. If you are still comparing providers, you can decide after seeing it.

The process is simple: free demo, feedback, launch, growth. The founder handles every project personally, from the first demo to ad management and improvements after launch, so the page and the ads keep speaking the same language. Everything runs by message, in Japanese or English.

FAQ

What does the free demo landing page include?

A working page from the first view to the form, built from your product information and your planned ads or keywords. You can check it on mobile, including the path to the form. Copy is drafted from the material you already have.

Is there any cost if I decide not to go ahead?

No. If you see the demo and decide to stop, you pay nothing. If you go ahead, you receive a structure proposal, a plan and an estimate based on the demo.

How long does a landing page take?

For one page, typically two to four weeks once the structure is agreed. Copy, photos and review rounds can shift that. We reply to first messages within two business days.

What do I need to prepare?

Material that explains your product or service, your logo and any usable photos are enough to start. Send planned ad copy or keywords if you have them. Without finished copy, we draft the structure and text from your material.

Can you also run the ads?

Yes. Google Ads, Google Shopping and Meta Ads run through the same single contact. Ad accounts are created and kept in your name, so the data always stays with you.

Does it work remotely, by message only?

Yes. UNANOBO works remotely and everything runs by message. You get a link to the demo, review it when it suits you and reply with your comments. Japanese or English both work.
